1. Scope and Acceptance
    By ordering at Saldanhamar, either on-site or through any delivery service, the customer accepts these terms and conditions

  2. Licensing and Compliance
    Saldanhamar operates under valid municipal licences, health and safety authorisations, and uses a certified invoicing system in accordance with Portuguese law.

  3. Prices and Payments
    All prices include applicable VAT. Promotional prices will clearly indicate reductions and the lowest prior price within the last 30 days. Payment is accepted via card or cash. Receipts are issued through certified electronic invoicing.

  4. Order Changes and Cancellations
    On-site orders may be changed or cancelled before preparation begins. For delivery or advance bookings, specific cancellation policies apply and are outlined during the booking or ordering process.

  5. Quality, Guarantees and Consumer Rights
    Meals and services must meet agreed standards. In line with consumer protection laws, services and goods are covered by a minimum 3-year legal guarantee. Customers are entitled to repair or replacement within 30 days, followed by the right to a price reduction or contract termination if needed. Perishable goods such as meals must comply with hygiene and freshness standards at the time of serving.

  6. Complaints Procedure
    Complaints may be submitted in the physical or digital Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações). The establishment will respond within 15 days and notify the relevant authorities when required.

  7. Liability and Exclusions
    Saldanhamar is not liable for allergic reactions if the customer fails to inform the staff of specific allergens. Liability for non-conforming goods is governed by Portuguese consumer law.

  8. Personal Data and Privacy
    Any personal data collected (such as for bookings or deliveries) will be processed in compliance with GDPR and applicable Portuguese data protection regulations.

  9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
    These terms and conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts or administrative entities in Portugal.
